Wow! I am starting to think those letters might had been a better choice. Speaking of choice, these colors had made this cake appear unappetizing. (That’s not to discredit the fact that it was already unappetizing because of its physical appearance.) This color palette does sure proves that I am no good at coordinating colors. Despite the color choices, I relearned that markers make it easier to create shadows over color pencils. I am not sure if it’s my choice in paper, but I found it hard to shade with the color pencils. The photo displays a small portion of materials that I had used. (There isn’t any point in showing all of those color pencils and markers.) I usually like to start my drawing with a small sketch and use it as inspiration for a bigger work. I would of liked to have drawn (a better drawing) this bigger because it would of made it easier for me to color and ink. For the most part, I didn’t ink in the entire drawing. Instead, I used the markers to trace the pencil lines and left certain areas untouched. (Was I aiming for some extreme contrast? Maybe.) I feel that coloring is one of my strong points, but I need to tone it down with my over active imaginations when it comes to selecting a color palette. Get it? Tone… Ah, never mind. :D

Tove (nicknamed Death Fist by her coworkers) works as a bouncer at the city’s most popular establishment. She’s strong, hardworking, loyal, dependable, and a bit of a troll. She claims to only be working so she can save money to help her “little sister” and their companions. They plan to travel somewhere and accomplish a certain objective, but what that objective is, she won’t say…


Chuan and Shavan cross fists with her when they have no choice but to sneak in to a club. Getting in proves to be most difficult…

(XD this was just a fun “what if” exercise to blow off some steam and relax from the winter weather. She’s not really in the story, but you never know…)
